California Fish and Game reached agreement with 2 environmental organizations to curtail stocking of trout where native fish and amphibians may be impacted, reports the San Jose Mercury News. This looks to be a very wide reaching agreement.
The details are not out yet, so its too early to for me to make a judgement. I do wonder if the Center for Biological Diversity considers Homo Sapiens to be native species, or artifically introduced?
