There were moments while viewing this film,
that I realized I was not alone in simply understanding what the word "enough" means.

This young man is an old soul indeed.

John I bow to you out of common brotherhood and I thank you for this wonderfull evening.

Although I appreciated elements of the narrative, the stereotypes portrayed in this film led me to revisit a darker period of my life - the days when I used to shop at Eddie Bauer.

Your comment about LOTR carries weight. I was waiting to catch a glimpse of the hobbit village and I think the score was lifted from the LOTR soundtrack b-sides. At least they shifted gears and tried a 'I'd like to buy the world a Coke' inspired folk music scene. But I digress...

Prosek's demeanor, like a few of my peers, echoes that of a bygone era and I think this film is his attempt at living out his idea of quintessential lifestyle. I can somewhat relate; mine just revolves around bodies of water north of the 49th clad in layers of waterproof breathable, immersed in lukewarm gas station coffee, all scored to TV theme songs from The Rockford Files, ChiP's and The Benny Hill Show.
