After dinner, she asked for some Daddy-Daughter time, which is code for “lets sneak out and go fishing”. We walked down to our favorite hole and rigged up.

After a while, my daughter spotted a frog on the bank, and wondered outloud if a frog would be fooled by an artificial fly. Seconds latter, thwap & some excited shouting.

One freaky thing, trying to release the frog, he kept grabbing me back, with all 4 feet. Eventually, he was released, unharmed, to hop along later.
