PS - I call it "Ray's Royal Ant"... but I can't be sure I really did much inventing.

Easily one of my top 4 flies.

Really??

I find Parachute ants to perform vastly better on my waters vs center-hackled ants, despite the added difficulty to tie.

My personal favorite, is a Black dubbed ant, with a red-floss in the center (like a Royal Coachmen), and an Orange poly parachute post with Grizzly hackle. I tie the red in the center to match the forest ants I have here locally.
