To me, fall means a transition to targeting larger fish. Since larger fish feed on smaller fish, this means more streamers in my fishing. The Light Spruce Streamer was recommended for sea-run cutthroat trout in the Pacific Northwest coastal waters.
Light Spruce Streamer
- Hook: 6x long streamer hook, sizes 2 to 10
- Tail: Peacock sword fibers
- Body (rear 2/3): Red floss, ribbed with small red wire
- Body (front 1/3): Peacock herl, ribbed with small red wire
- Wing: 2 badger hackles
- Hackle: Badger hackle
