Kelly Galloup adpated this pattern from the Joe Brooks Blonde. Its called a stacked blonde because its tied on a keel hook, and provides a wider profile.
Stacked Blonde
- Hook: Keel Hook (Mustad 79666), size 4 to 8
- Body: Yellow Bucktail, 4 clumps: 2 on the flat portions, 2 on the angled portion of the hook
- Body: Yellow Marabou feather
- Head: Thread wraps, optional paint on a set of eyes
Tying notes:
- These hooks are no longer manufactured. Look on eBay.
- Chartruese and white are also good colors
