Here is a rusty parachute, a general attractor which can double as a spinner pattern. This video shows how to tie off the hackle on a parachute pattern, which tends to be a difficult technique to learn.

Great para technique. I use the same but tie off behind the post. It keeps me from ending up with too much at the head of the fly. Leaving the para feather butt long is a great control technique that I will adopt.
