Pearly Gates by Andy Hares

Three guys show up at the pearly gates in Heaven. St Peter turns to the first one and asks, “You have an IQ of 220; did you receive your Nobel Prize?”.

The man answered “Yes, I was awarded the Nobel Prize for Medicine, for my work on a cure for heart disease”.

St. Peter replied, “Well done, you’ve used the gifts that God has given you, and used them well. You may enter Heaven for your eternal reward.”

St. Peter then turned to the second man, and asked, “You have an IQ of 145; did you earn your PHD?”.  The man answered in the affirmative, adding “The PHD afforded me the opportunity to teach young men and women during their most formative years.”

St. Peter replied, “Outstanding. You have also used your God-given gifts.  You too may enter Heaven.”

Then, St. Peter turned to the last man and asked, “You have an IQ of 75; did you get your steelhead?”
