Body: Pheasant Tail
Rib: Small wire, amber for this one

Hook: Size 14 Curved hook
Head: Green glass seed bead, size 11/0
Body: Light Olive Thread, 8/0
Overbody: Fine Monofiliment Thread
Over-over body: 3 coats of Sally Hansons Hard as Nails

Tie on a dry fly hook, here is a Tiemco 100, size 16. Use 6/0 yellow or light cahill thread. Tie in the wings first, triming the butts. Next, tie in the tail, this is zelon in “mayfly brown” color. Trim the tail material to fill in the space to the wing butts. This gives a smooth, evenly tapered underbody.

Next dub. This one uses PMD color natural dubbing from Trouthunter, Rene Harrop Pro Dubbing for Dry Flies.
